Yesterday the Government has finally commenced the long-awaited process of regularising and servicing of residential stands in Gwanda under the Garikai/Hlalani Kuhle suburbs.
Land servicing is being done by Contractor Zimbuild which is now on site, implementing critical works including:
-Sewer infrastructure
-Water reticulation
-Road construction
This development will benefit over 600 households and is a testament to the government’s commitment to upgrading housing infrastructure nationwide.
Zimbuild Chief Executive Officer, Dr Tinashe Manzungu, said Hlalani Kuhle project will last a period of 9 months. The Minister of State for Matabeleland South Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Albert Nguluvhe did the groundbreaking and said this project will addresses the long-standing infrastructure challenges that have affecting Hlalani Kuhle community.
